Everyone is unique. All the people around you are unique! Here are some fun facts about the people close to me.
(My mum) 1. My mum used to be a teacher!
( My sister) 2. My sister is thinking of being a Speech & Therapy doctor.
( My dad) 3. My dad used to be a chef.
Do anyone of your close ones do the same thing?

Summer Learning Journey Prep 1
1. The name of the capital city is Ottawa.
2. The population of the capital city is 36.71 million people.
3.In January, the weather in the capital city is usually 35 degrees Celsius.
4.The capital city is located in the Southern Ontario.
5. The languages most commonly spoken in the capital city are English and French
Two fun facts!
Ottawa is the fourth largest city in Canada!
The Ottawa region welcomes more than 7.3 million visitors annually.
Why I would like to visit Canada!
I would actually love to go to Canada because it snows there every single year! In New Zealand it doesn't snow much except in the mountains. There isn't really another reason to be honest.

SLJ - Day 3: The More, the Merrier?
In the 1800's families were made up of seven to nine kids! What if you had nine siblings?
I have made a "Pros & Cons" list.
Pros:
I could always have someone there for me when I'm feeling down.
There could possibly always be a person to play with me when I'm bored.
I would never feel lonely.
If you were the oldest person out of all your siblings you would have more of an advantage over things.
Cons:
We would have fights over many things.
Jealousy, there would be jealousy over small things.
It would be kind of awful to be the oldest at sibling because the more younger siblings you get the more you will think that your parents are not starting to care about you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't exactly know how I would feel..but I would definitely wouldn't like to be the oldest even though the oldest could have an advantage.

SLJ - (Bonus Activity) Day 2: Special Meals
This is a picture of my favourite food. Pizza! No toppings for me please.
What is your favourite food?
SLJ - Day 2: The Rules of Engagement
These are my top 2 favourite dream jobs! You may be able to tell my MOST favourite one out of them both. What's your dream job? Can you tell what one my favourite is?
SLJ - Day 2: A House or a Home?
In the 1800's the Māori lived in pa's (villages) in the villages there were places for them to store food, cook food and sleep. The wharepuni (where they slept) were made of timber, fern, rushes and bark.
What are the two differences and two similarities between a wharepuni and my house?
Differences:
1. My house looks different from a wharepuni.
2. My house is made from different things.
Similarities:
1. You can sleep inside both, the wharepuni and my house.
2. My house and the wharepuni are both made from wood.

SLJ - (Bonus) Day One: Waka Ama
If someone ever asked me "Do you want to be a part of a Waka Ama race?" I would reject that person's offer. Rowing for like, hundreds of meters is hard work! No thank you. I never will like a sore arm.
Would you say "Yes!" if someone asked you to be a part of a Waka Ama race? Comment your thoughts!
