Hola! For the past few weeks, my group has been reading the book by Malala Yousafzai called "I Am Malala". It is a book that explains all the ups and downs of Malala's life. This DLO explains what happens in Part 2 and 3. Enjoy!
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 8 and in 2021 I will be a year 9. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Reading: I Am Malala
On 9 October 2012, a Taliban gunman shot Malala in the head as she rode home on a bus after taking an exam. Malala spent 2 days in the hospital's critical before being moved onto a ward. People thought she might not survive. But now Malala is a Pakistani activist for female education and the youngest Nobel Prize receiver. Would you like to read "I Am Malala"? Why or why not?
