How, much sodium do you think a teenager should consume daily?
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 8 and in 2021 I will be a year 9. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Is Sodium good for you?
Kamusta! In Health today we learnt about Sodium, aka, salt. It's in almost everything. We need it to live a healthy life but at the same time eating too much of it can be unhealthy. Today, we had to rate 13 packaged foods depending on how much salt we think they have in them. Something interesting I learnt today was that 2 Minute Noodles actually don't have a lot of sodium included.

2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Hi Shreya
ReplyDeleteIt is great that you have taken this information onboard and are now helping others to understand the safe amount of sodium that should be consumed daily by teenagers.
I was surprised that 2 minute noodles didn't have more sodium too! I was also surprised that baked beans had so much sodium.
Keep up the great work.
